There are great things about living in Japan. The beer situation is not one of these.
Japan has a burgeoning microbrew community, and that may warrant a post on the future, but not right now. Mostly I rely on our little package store/gas station/car rental shop on base for a regular supply of interestingish beers. Granted, compared to other places I’ve lived, the selection is appalling.
Today, though, is a good day. Anderson Valley anything is excellent, and I got the last sixer of Oatmeal Stout. Go me.
